With their class win and tenth place overall in the FIA EHRC, the team strengthens their second position in the continental series.
At Rallylegend next weekend, Diego Cianfriglia and Mirko Mazzini will make their debut with the second Ford Escort MKII.
The Rallye Elba ended with another positive result for the Drive the Legend team, which continues its participation in the European Historic Rally Championship with its crew of Farmakakis and Bernacchini. The rally started with a small accident that saw the team’s mechanics working overtime to restore the car to continue in the island competition. The weather, with intermittent rain, also made the special stages even more unpredictable, highlighting the crew’s driving skills in all conditions. Two podium finishes in the last two rallies, satisfying the crews, technicians, and management.
Next weekend, one of the most important events in international motorsport, Rallylegend, will take place in the Republic of San Marino. For the first time, the second and new Ford Escort MKII will be driven by the Cianfriglia and Mazzini crew, making their debut with the team in this historic event. The rally will start as usual on Friday with night tests and will end on Sunday 5 October 2025.
